The Northwestern Playground Committee has secured funds to revitalize our school playground and provide a quality, safe area for children to play.
With financial support from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, The Joe Ingram Trust, Northwestern Board of Education, Northwestern Booster Club, Northwestern Summer Recreation, and Carl Myrick Memorial the committee has developed a plan to renovate the playground area. Old wooden structures will be removed and new equipment will be installed on a concrete base covered by rubber safety matting. New fencing and lighting will also be installed to provide a safe and fun environment.
